Fatherland in Danger Beer Stein. 2,500 piece limited edition. Handcrafted in Germany. Hand painted. Made from stoneware with pewter lid. Approximately 15.75 inches tall (40 cm). 3 Liter. Stamped on bottom with Manufacturers Logo. Originally sculpted, presumably by Peter Dumler around the year 1875, in intricate detail, and dramatically capturing the mobilization of the Germanic tribes in the defense of their fatherland. The body of the stein vividly portrays in handpainted raised relief, a resolute German wife and mother pointing out her warrior husband the path to his fellow Germanic warriors assembled under their banner, as he kisses his son goodbye. Manufactured for Pinnacle Peak Trading by King-Werks. King-Werks, also know as Wuerfel and Mueller, is one of the few remaining German stein companies that still produce 100% of their steins in Germany with 100% German materials and labor.
